At Grasp N' Grow, the math curriculum focuses on the basic groundwork which will help build and advance your child's math skills. We begin with a research based assessment that helps the math team make a plan that is just right for each individual student. With progress monitoring and working together with home and school, growth is accomplished and celebrated.
Strong math skills are an important building block to learning and will assist your child in every school subject. Elementary school students start out by learning number sense, problem solving, representation and estimation. As the child gets older and more confident, we can assist with middle school, high school and college level math. Math can provide a vehicle through which critical-thinking skills are put into practice and refined - leading the student to be better a problem solver. Math helps us think analytically and have better reasoning abilities.
